Star Clippers has appointed travel industry veteran Bill Dwyer as director of sales based at the line’s Miami office.

He is responsible for overseeing Star Clippers’ sales team, incentive charters, group business and large national accounts.

Dwyer reports to Jack Chatham, president of Star Clippers Americas.

“Bill brings with him extensive industry knowledge that will be a valuable asset to the Star Clippers team,” said Chatham. “With his years of experience in a variety of organizations, we expect he will achieve great success in his new role.”

Most recently Dwyer worked for All Discovery Cruising as vice president of sales. His travel industry experience also includes stints at Costa Cruises, SuperClubs all-inclusive resorts and Budget Rent A Car.

Dwyer lives in Coral Springs, Fla.
