Therron Hofsetz Joins Holland America as Director of Software Apps

Holland America Line has appointed Therron Hofsetz to the position of director, software applications, in the line’s information technology department.

Hofsetz has more than 15 years of experience in project management, team leadership and implementation experience. Most recently, he was an independent consultant specializing in software solutions at Green River Consulting in Denver, Colo.

“With his background in developing custom solutions for business and government clients, Therron will truly be an asset to the I.T. team at Holland America Line,” said Brent Davidson, vice president of information technology. “His initial focus will be ensuring that the Seabourn conversion to POLAR is seamless. He brings considerable experience and energy to the company. We are pleased to welcome him.”

Hofsetz will lead the organization’s overall applications development and support, which includes POLAR, the line’s booking engine for travel sellers, and applications for purchasing, information sharing and deployment planning among others.

He is relocating with his family to the Seattle area from Winter Park, Colo.
