Mazatlan Meeting Set

Cruise lines and Mazatlan officials plan to meet on Monday, Jan. 31, to discuss the security situation in the destination. The meeting has been arranged by the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association.

Following three reported security incidents with passengers in Mazatlan, Carnival Cruise Lines is scheduled to call on Tuesday, Feb. 2, but was evaluating the situation at press time.

Meanwhile, Disney Cruise Line has modified its seven-day Mexican Riviera program aboard the Wonder, dropping Mazatlan, and adding an extra call in Cabo San Lucas, until further notice, according to a spokesperson.
