COTRI Intensifies Cooperation with Dragon Trails

COTRI, the China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (Heide, Germany), and Dragon Trail (Beijing) are celebrating the first anniversary of working successfully together as partners in the Win-Chinese-Tourists consortium. To take the cooperation a step further, COTRI is moving its China Office from Shanghai to Beijing, joining the Dragon Trail colleagues in Haidian, the “Silicon Valley” of Beijing.

From Nov. 1, 2010, the new representative of COTRI in China will be Yao Wen, who has been working in the COTRI headquarters in Heide in Germany after she finished her tourism master degree studies in France and has now moved back to China. On the European side, COTRI welcomes two new staff members: Yuanhong Deng, senior researcher based in Brussels, who is supporting COTRI´s strategy for consulting and training; and in Heide, Sandra He Xi, who brings practical experience from her former work in the Chinese outbound tourism industry as well as a master degree from Sunderland University in Britain to her new position.

To learn more about the opportunities COTRI and Dragon Trail offer for a successful China tourism business, contact us in China or Germany or meet the director of COTRI, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt, during the WTM fair in London (Nov. 8-11) at the COTTM 2011 stand AS680.
