Propeller Problems Force Pacific Jewel Voyage Cancellation

P&O Australia has cancelled an 11-night cruise on the Pacific Jewel, scheduled to depart on October 19, due to what the line called “propulsion problems”.

The ship is on its way back to Sydney from New Caledonia at a reduced pace and will arrive on October 20 – one day late.

The vessel was launched in 1990, built by Fincantieri, and has served as the Crown Princess, A`Rosa Blu, AIDAblu and Ocean Village Two.

Earlier this year P&O cancelled the November 5 sailing on the Pacific Jewel, scheduling the vessel to instead go into drydock for stabilizer repairs.
