Feast for the Senses: A Musical Odyssey in Umbria has just been published by Chronicle Books. Described as part memoir, part travelogue, the book recounts Lin Arison’s journey through the Umbrian countryside in the company of Michael Tilson Thomas and members of the New World Symphony. Arison is the wife of the late Ted Arison, founder of Carnival Cruise Lines. The Arisons founded the New World Symphony in 1988, along with Tilson Thomas, conductor and artistic director. Lin Arison, who co-authored the book with Diana C. Stoll, is a writer and producer, and divides her time between Miami and Tel Aviv.
