Norwegian Offers Upgrades and Savings During National Cruise Vacation Month

Norwegian Cruise Line is celebrating National Cruise Vacation Month and a decade of Freestyle Cruising innovations by offering special savings on more than 300 popular cruises around the world from Saturday, October 2 through October 31, 2010. The offer provides same category upgrades, half off standard cruise deposits and up to $250 in on-board credit per stateroom, based on cruise length and category.

Guests can reap the benefits and save on their next cruise vacation to experience Freestyle Cruising on any of the line’s 11 ships, including its newest and most innovative, Norwegian Epic. Those who book sailings of up to six days and longer will receive $250 in on-board credit when sailing in a Garden Villa; $150 for suites; $100 for mini-suites and deluxe balcony staterooms; $75 for balcony staterooms; $50 for oceanview; $25 for inside and $12.50 for Norwegian Epic’s exclusive Studio staterooms. For sailings of up to five days, guests will receive $100 per stateroom in a Garden Villa; $75 for suites; $50 for mini-suites; $40 for balcony staterooms; $20 for oceanview; $15 for inside and $7.50 for Studio staterooms. The on-board credit can be used to purchase anything from shore excursions and spa treatments; to specialty fitness classes like yoga and spinning; gifts in the duty free shop and dinners in any of Norwegian’s specialty Freestyle Dining restaurants.

In honor of National Cruise Vacation month, Norwegian has created a number of customizable resources travel partners can take advantage of such as a variety of downloadable marketing tools designed for agents complete with e-mail blasts, banner ads and flyers at www.nclagentsalesevent.com. Plus, for the first time ever, the portal also provides agents with customizable e-cards and sharable content for Facebook and Twitter allowing them the convenience to socialize with clients easily and frequently.

Norwegian also just launched the Norwegian Epic Virtual Inaugural (www.norwegianepiclive.com) where partners can explore the ship with Cruise Director Silas Cook through a series of informational videos on dining, accommodations, entertainment, family activities, solo travelers and luxury at sea. The site also includes helpful links to interact with Norwegian and Epic fact sheets available for download in order to help agents learn about and promote the ship.
