MSC Cruises announces the signature of a three year full fleet contract with Telecom Italia, the Italian leading telecommunication company, to provide onboard GSM, GPRS and CDMA connectivity. This agreement covers the eleven vessels of MSC Cruises’ fleet.

This collaboration with Telecom Italia takes MSC Cruises’ technological development to the next level. MSC Cruises pays great attention to details and is proud to offer a product Made in Italy, carefully managed from A to Z, which requires a tight cooperation with the utmost service providers.

Telecom Italia services will enable voice, SMS and data connectivity so far uncovered by terrestrial networks areas at open seas. In the near future, specific services for the crew and info communication innovative applications for passengers may also be available.
