Following a restructuring uniting Crystal Cruises’ Hotel and Marine Operations departments, Crystal’s senior vice president, operations, Thomas Mazloum, announces promotions to the luxury line’s operations management team. Cruise and Coast Guard veteran Greg MacGarva joins Crystal as vice president, marine operations, while Crystal’s long time director of land programs, John Stoll was promoted to vice president, land and port operations.

Gregg MacGarva comes to Crystal with 12 years in the cruise industry, including marine operations, procurement and logistic tenures at Holland America Line and engineering and purchasing positions at Cruise West. Since then, he’s spearheaded successful efforts to introduce numerous industry-first Crystal Adventures ashore, as well as thousands of thrilling, cultural, culinary and environmentally focused shoreside experiences. In his expanded role, he adds port operations to his department responsibilities.
