Coast Guard Medevacs Man from NCL Pearl in Alaska (photos)

The crew transferred the man from the cruise ship Norwegian Pearl in Chatham Strait 23 miles north to Juneau’s Bartlett Regional Hospital in stable condition.

Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Sitka medevaced a 90-year-old man suffering from symptoms of a stroke from the 965-foot cruise ship Norwegian Pearl 23 miles southwest of Juneau Thursday, June 24, 2010.

The man was delivered to emergency medical services in stable condition who transferred him to Bartlett Regional Hospital.
