Peter Cox to Retire from Seabourn

Peter Cox, director of itinerary planning and development for Seabourn Cruise Line, has announced his retirement after 36 years in the industry.

Said Cox in a statement: “On June 1st the time will come to change course for a new adventure, retirement. After having lived some 36 years outside Europe my wife Sylvie and I plan to return to the old continent, sometime in July, to be closer to our families, rediscover our roots and, perhaps, even find time for a cruise?  During all the years in this forever-changing cruise business our lives were often shaped by circumstances, sometimes beyond our control. We learned to believe that when one door closes, another opens, to trust our instincts and seize opportunities. Without exception these years have been challenging and adventurous but above all rewarding and enriching. We learned too that a person, any person, is only as good as the team he or she belongs to. Throughout my career I have been blessed to be part of great teams, with great team leaders and my 17 years at Seabourn have been no exception,” Cox said.
