InnerSea Discoveries Adds New Sales Director

Advertising and sales executive Yolanda F. Brown has joined InnerSea Discoveries LLC as director of sales, announces Capt. Dan Blanchard, principal and CEO. InnerSea Discoveries is the parent company of American Safari Cruises and its new brand, InnerSea Discoveries adventure cruises. The company is headquartered at Seattle’s historic Fishermen’s Terminal.

Brown has extensive background in sales and marketing in travel, tourism and hospitality as well as the corporate sector. Most recently she was marketing director of Alaska Executive Search in Anchorage. She also was regional sales manager for Holland America Westours’ hotel properties in Alaska, director of sales and marketing for Clarion and Hawthorne Suites Hotels in Anchorage, and was an advertising executive for Gocom Broadcasting and the Anchorage Daily News. She has extensive experience in event planning and conference management.

With InnerSea Discoveries, Brown will supervise the sales staff, handle group and charter sales and work with wholesalers. She holds a bachelor of science degree from Southwest Texas State University and is a member of the American Marketing Association, National Conference Planning Committee and Business and Professional Women.
