Top-rated premium brand Celebrity Cruises today announced the appointment of Lisa Kauffman as vice president of Marketing. Kauffman will lead the brand’s overall marketing program, including brand strategy and development, web marketing, research, loyalty and direct marketing, public relations, and advertising. She will report to Celebrity’s President & CEO Dan Hanrahan.

Kauffman has worked in the retail and marketing arenas for more than 20 years, most recently serving as senior vice president of Marketing for Macy’s, Florida, where she led a team of 120 executives responsible for marketing, advertising, sales promotion, public relations, special events, loyalty marketing and direct marketing. She was credited with several innovative marketing and sales strategies to support product launches, promotions, customer loyalty programs, store openings, and brand enhancement.
Previously, Kauffman served as vice president of Media Buying, Production and Technology, and vice president of Strategic Marketing for the retail giant. Prior to Macy’s, she served in several progressive, senior roles with The Walt Disney Company.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Penn., Kauffman also studied at the American College in Paris in Paris, France. She is a member of several professional and community (Miami-Dade County, Fla.) organizations, including the CEO Forum of the Commonwealth Institute and The Beacon Council’s Fashion & Lifestyle Task Force.
