CruiseOne and Cruises Inc., the nation’s largest cruise retail network as part of World Travel Holdings (WTH), have been named to Carnival Cruise Line’s Pinnacle Club. The accolade was made official during a June 8 presentation by Carnival executives to Brad Tolkin, Co-Chairman/Co-CEO of WTH and Dwain Wall, Senior Vice President/General Manager of CruiseOne and Cruises Inc.
“CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. are in the midst of an outstanding year, both in terms of recruiting new agents to the industry and delivering increasingly high booking numbers to the cruise lines,” said Tolkin. “Carnival Cruise Line is a valued partner and we are so thrilled to receive this recognition, which underscores the diligence of our agents amidst a challenging economic climate.”
The Pinnacle Club was created by Carnival Cruise Line to acknowledge high-volume travel agencies that meet certain sales criteria and exhibit excellence in promoting and selling the “Fun Ship” cruise experience. To be eligible, agencies must meet the company’s sales criteria while demonstrating professionalism, creativity in sales and marketing programs, and outstanding support of the Carnival brand. World Travel Holdings has earned the Pinnacle Award for more than 10 years running.
CruiseOne was founded in 1992 and currently has more than 550 locations. Cruises Inc., the original cruise travel host agency, was founded in 1982 and currently has more than 500 independent contractors. Together, the companies are part of World Travel Holdings (WTH), the nation’s largest cruise retailer. CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. are industry leaders, providing agents with innovative support, training, marketing and technology programs to successfully grow their business. The companies have relationships with every major cruise line and many tour operators and as a result, offer the highest commissions in the business. Both are consistently recognized for their efforts by key partners, including being named Royal Caribbean’s “Partner of the Year” and Celebrity Cruises’ “National Account Partner of the Year.”
