New Web Site Counts Down to Inaugural Sailing of World’s Largest Cruise Ship

Cruise Planners/American Express, the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network in the cruise industry, today announced the launch of OasisSneakPeak.com. The new site provides a behind-the-scenes look at Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas, the largest passenger ship in the world offering more amenities pound-for-pound than any other cruise ship in history.

“With top-of-the-line options offered on the Oasis of the Seas, Royal Caribbean is keeping the attention of travelers, and Cruise Planners is thrilled to be involved,” said Michelle Fee, Cruise Planners co-founder and CEO. “The new, interactive site provides an in-depth look at the making of one of the most incredible ships in history, and I hope cruisers take advantage of the opportunity to get a sneak peak of this marvel.”

OasisSneakPeak.com provides access to image galleries with the latest ship renderings and rare shipyard photos all the way from Turku, Finland, documenting the construction process of the 5,400-passenger ship. Cruisers can get the latest ship updates on the news blog and track the launch date of the loaded Oasis of the Seas on the countdown clock.

“Cruise Planners was named our home-based partner of the year for their professional standards and unmatched success in the industry,” said Vicki Freed, Royal Caribbean International senior vice president, sales. “With concepts like OasisSneakPeak.com, Cruise Planners continues its forward-thinking approach complementing Royal Caribbean’s innovative and industry affecting endeavors, which makes for a perfect match.”

An architectural marvel, Oasis of the Seas will span 16 decks, encompass 220,000 gross registered tons and feature 2,700 staterooms. She will be the first ship to tout Royal Caribbean’s imaginative neighborhood concept with seven distinctly themed areas including the tree-lined Central Park; the Boardwalk; the Royal Promenade; Pool and Sports Zone; Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center; Entertainment Place; and the Youth Zone.
