RSSC Announces Extension of Options

In order to provide its valued guests and travel partners additional flexibility, and in the spirit of guest- and agent-friendliness for which the line is renowned, Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) today announced an amendment to the current policy on options made through the call center in North America. Effective Monday, June 15, 2009, options on cruises more than 90 days away will be extended to 7 calendar days. The previous policy allowed for 3 days.

“We understand that guests sometimes need more time to make a financial commitment to their vacation,” said Randall Soy, Vice President of Sales for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Our revised policy allows for this, while at the same time eliminating some hassle in the sales process for our travel agent partners,” he added.

Under the new policy, bookings that are made 76 to 90 days prior to sailing will be granted an option of 3 days, bookings made 31 to 75 days prior to sailing will be granted 2 days, and bookings made less than 30 days prior to sailing will require payment at time of booking, and will be subject to air availability.
