Windstar Cruises, which operates a three-ship fleet of luxury yachts that explore hidden harbors and secluded coves of the world’s most treasured destinations, announces the promotion of Sandy Stevens to Vice President of Sales from Director of National Accounts, Charters and Incentive Sales and Alicia Cummings to Director of Marketing from Product Manager.

“I am pleased to recognize the outstanding efforts of Sandy Stevens and Alicia Cummings in growing Windstar’s business,” said Diane Moore, President. “Sandy has done a fantastic job cultivating our national account, charter and incentive business along with promoting the Windstar brand in the marketplace. Alicia has a deep understanding of Windstar’s audience and continues to develop successful marketing strategies targeted to them.”

As Vice President of Sales, Stevens will be responsible for overseeing national account, retail, onboard, international, charter and incentive sales for the company as well as developing a field sales force.

Stevens has been with the Windstar for two years and has 16 years of experience in sales and management roles. Prior to her time at Windstar, she served as Key Account Manager with Celebrity Cruises where she managed relationships with 15 retail travel agency accounts, generating more than $25 million in annual revenue for the cruise line. Before Celebrity Cruises, Stevens held the position of Director of Supplier Sales for Virtuoso, responsible for relationships with cruise line and tour company partners. In her new role as Director of Marketing, Cummings will be responsible for developing and executing all marketing programs including advertising, electronic communications, collateral and direct marketing materials.
