Boudicca to Replace Black Prince

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines™ 839-passenger Boudicca will be taking the place of the 412-passenger Black Prince, sailing from Southampton, in addition to Newcastle, Leith, Portsmouth, Greenock and Liverpool, when she retires from the fleet this October.

“We have worked hard during the last few years to establish ex-UK cruises from a variety of ports in England and Scotland, and the larger capacity of the Boudicca will help us to do this considerably” a Fred. Olsen spokesperson said.

The line will also be offering some new ports of call: Szczecin (Poland), on Baltic itineraries this year, and Canakkale (Turkey), on a Black Sea cruise in October 2010.

“We have a large number of repeat passengers, and strive to introduce new ports of call into some of the more popular itineraries in order to provide variety” the spokesperson said.
