AmaWaterways Reveals 2021 River Cruise Collection

AmaWaterways has unveiled its itineraries for 2021, which include four new seven-night European routes and pre- and post-cruise land programs, the company said in a statement. The company will also welcome a new ship, the 156-passenger AmaLucia, a sister ship to AmaSiena, which debuts in 2020.

In response to the growing demand for more French itineraries, AmaWaterways also announced the repositioning of a number of ships – the AmaKristina moves to the Rhône, the AmaDante will join the AmaLyra on the Seine and the AmaCello will sail a new itinerary on both the Rhône and Saône rivers. In addition, the AmaBella and the AmaVerde will rejoin AmaWaterways’ European fleet sailing the Dutch and Belgian waterways and the Danube.

“We couldn’t be more excited to unveil all of the new offerings we have for 2021,” said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways. “France is in the spotlight and as godmother of the AmaKristina, I am thrilled to see her moving over to the Rhône to join the AmaCello who will take on a new itinerary exploring both the Burgundy and Provence regions. We have also added more lower Danube cruises and new land programs to Geneva and Lake Como.”

The four new itineraries include Impressions of the Seine and Paris, sailing onboard the AmaDante from Paris to Le Havre (or reverse); Essence of Burgundy and Provence sailing on board the AmaCello from Chalon-sur-Saône to Arles (or reverse); Rhine Castles and Swiss Alps sailing on board the AmaMora and the AmaSerena from Amsterdam to Basel (or reverse); and the Best of Holland and Belgium sailing onboard the AmaSerena round-trip from Amsterdam.

In addition, AmaWaterways will enhance its pre- and post-cruise experiences with a new land extension in the Champagne region of France where guests can visit acclaimed vineyards and savor tastings of Veuve Clicquot and Moet et Chandon.

Bookings for the 2021 itineraries are now open.
