Phoenix Reisen Names Newest River Vessel

Phoenix Reisen has christened it latest river vessel, the Anna Katharina, in a family ceremony with Anna Katharina Zurnieden, niece of the company’s founder, as the godmother.

Owned by Scylla AG, the Anna Katharina is chartered to Phoenix Reisen. She is 135 meters long and 11.40 meters wide with four decks and 90 cabins, 74 of them with French balconies. There are two restaurants, a lounge, spa and hairdresser and on the sundeck a small pool.

Also onboard of Anna Katharina, Sea Chefs is responsible for the hotel operation and the culinary aspects.

The new vessel will sail on the Moselle and Rhine rivers in 2019 at what Phoenix Reisen called low introductory prices. For 2020, she moves to the Danube.
