Iloilo City Ready for Pacific Venus Visit

The Pacific Venus from Venus Cruise is set to make a call to Iloilo City in the Philippines on January 26, coinciding with the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival.

Japanese passengers disembarking the ship will also get to witness the Kasadyahan Festival and Dinagyang Festival.

According to local media, plans have been in the works for this maiden call for more than a year, as company executives from Venus Cruises performed a site visit to the city in 2017, and made a second inspection last month.

The 1998-built Pacific Venus will tie up at the Iloilo Commercial Port Complex, which will see a number of temporary modifications for a cruise call.
