Pullmantur Swaps Mexico for Caribbean

Pullmantur Cruises’ Ocean Dream will sail Caribbean cruises out of Aruba, and not on the Mexican Riviera from Acapulco, as previously planned.

However, a source at the cruise line said that the program for the 1,400-passenger Dream is “not really gone,” and “still up in the air.”

Pullmantur’s most recent brochure lists the Ocean Dream sailing year-round seven-day cruises out of Aruba, calling at Curacao, Isla Margarita (where she will also embark passengers), Grenada, Barbados and Mayreau (St. Vincent).

The seven-day cruises from Acapulco would be dedicated exclusively to the Mexican market, and include calls at Ixtapa, (Zihuatanejo), Manzanillo (where she will also embark passengers), Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas.
