Roy Grimsland Named Exec VP, Sales, Paul Gauguin Shipping

Paul Gauguin Shipping Limited today announced that Roy Grimsland has been named executive vice president of sales for Paul Gauguin Shipping Limited.

He will be responsible for driving product sales of the five-plus star, 332-passenger Paul Gauguin, which, since its launch in 1998, has been the longest continually operating luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific.

Until recently, Mr. Grimsland was the corporate director of sales with West Paces Hotel Group in Atlanta.  Earlier, he spent nine years as vice president of sales with Radisson Seven Seas Cruises in Fort Lauderdale, where he launched and drove sales of Paul Gauguin for seven years.  He also held key sales positions at Royal Cruise Line, Costa Cruises and NCL.

Mr. Grimsland earned a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida in 2000 and, in 1983, a bachelor’s degree in business management from Barry University in Miami.

Mr. Grimsland will be based in Fort Lauderdale.
