Eden Expects More than 20 Cruise Calls Next Season

With 15 calls on the books for the 2017-2018 cruise season, the Port of Eden is planning to welcome some 23,000 visitors. More than 20 ships are expected for the 2018-2019 season.

Among the highlights is the first visit ever from Norwegian Cruise Line, and maiden calls from the Silver Shadow and Seven Seas Voyager, according to Natalie Godward, industry coordinator and cruise manager for Sapphire Coast Tourism.

“Navigation charges for the port are heavily discounted and will continue to be until the Breakwater Wharf extension is finished during the 2018-2019 season,” she said. The expected date of completion is December 2018.

“In addition, we also offer full customs clearance, allowing ships to use Eden as their first port of call in Australia,” added Godward.
