Enjoy a Vacation This Fall with Cruise Philly Sailing Through November 1

Fall may be settling in but travelers still have the opportunity to sit back and enjoy a getaway with CruisePhilly. The luxurious Norwegian Majesty continues to sail from the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal this fall, traveling to Canada/New England and the Southern Caribbean through November 1st.

The Norwegian Majesty travels to Canada/New England for seven days when the ship departs four consecutive Saturdays beginning October 4th. Stops include Halifax, Bar Harbor, Bay of Fundy/St. John, and Boston. CruisePhilly and the Norwegian Majesty close out the season November 1st with a grand 14-day repositioning cruise through the sunny heart of the Southern Caribbean.

“Fall does not have to mean the end of taking time off from work and traveling,” said John J. Matheussen, CEO of the DRPA, the parent agency of the Port of Philadelphia and Camden. “We’re pleased to offer regional residents the opportunity to cruise from their own backyards later in the year with CruisePhilly aboard the Norwegian Majesty.”

“We have found that many guests prefer traveling in the fall to avoid the larger summer crowds,” said Mike Venuto, Director of the Port of Philadelphia and Camden. “CruisePhilly has worked over the years to please these vacationers by giving them even more cruising options once the summer has ended.”

While in port in Canada/New England and the Caribbean, guests can enjoy a number of shore excursions. In Bay of Fundy/St. John in Canada, guests can enjoy Ride the Rapids, a jet boat ride through the famous Reversing Falls rapids. The Coral World, a three-story observatory tower built right into the ocean, is available for guests to explore in the Caribbean.

The Philadelphia Cruise Terminal is operated by the Port of Philadelphia and Camden, a department of the Delaware River Port Authority. DRPA also owns and operates the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry and Betsy Ross bridges, PATCO and the RiverLink Ferry.
