Fincantieri announced it has started the construction process for Carnival Cruise Line’s 2019 newbuild, which will be the third Vista-class ship for the brand.
The steel cutting ceremony took place on Friday at Fincantieri’s shipyard in Marghera. The ship will be delivered in autumn 2019, according to the shipyard.
The ship is a sister to the 2016 built Carnival Vista, and the Carnival Horizon, which will be delivered in early 2018.
