Costa Opens Two Asia Ships to International Markets

Costa Cruises announced it is launching a new exotics program for winter 2017-2018 in Asia aboard the Victoria and neoRomantica, and opening sales to European and North American source markets.

The Costa Victoria will offer week-long cruises from Singapore in January and February of 2018, alternating two different itineraries.

The first itinerary will include Koh Samui (Thailand), an overnight in Bangkok (Thailand); and a call at Sihanoukville (Cambodia). The second itinerary will call at Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), the island of Langkawi (Malaysia), Phuket (Thailand) with an overnight, Penang (Malaysia) and Malacca (Malaysia).

“Our new Asian itineraries are the result of a continuous dialogue with our guests and trade partners,” said Massimo Brancaleoni, senior vice president of worldwide sales for Costa Cruises. “We perceived an interest for new exotic destinations and we quickly answered to satisfy this desire. We are confident that these new options will even further enrich and diversify our selection of winter cruises, and that our past guests and those new to cruising will find very appealing when planning upcoming holidays. As an added benefit, it is always important for us to provide our trade business partners with a larger portfolio of opportunities.”

The Victoria will also offer a 23-day cruise in February 2018 from Singapore to Savona.

The neoRomantica will open her Japan-based deployment to international guests from October through January, offering eight night cruises from Tokyo. Costa said the itinerary includes stops at Nagoya, Okinawa, Miyakojima and Keelung.

In October and November 2017, guests can combine this itinerary with another six-day itinerary calling at Kobe or Osaka, the South Korean island of Jeju and Kagoshima.

For Christmas, a special 10-day itinerary will be offered, visiting Kobe, Amam iOshima, Ishigaki, Okinawa (overnight call), Yokkaichi and Keelung (Taiwan).
