Louis Rescinds Offer to Buy Norwegian Dream

Louis Cruise Line has rescinded its offer to buy the Norwegian Dream from Star Cruises.

The Cyprus-based cruise line changed direction about the ship “due to technical issues relating to the vessel, and following legal advice,” the line announced on its website.

Louis “has already concluded the purchase of the cruise ship Norwegian Majesty, which was chartered back to the sellers, Star Cruises, until December 1, 2009,” the statement said.

Louis plans to continue implementing its fleet renewal program, with the pursuit of alternative solutions, the statement concluded.
