AIDAperla Sails from Nagasaki

The AIDAperla has been delivered to AIDA Cruises and earlier this week, the new ship left Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nagasaki, Japan, en route to Europe for her first summer season cruising in the Mediterranean.

The AIDAperla is coming off a successful set of sea-trials that took place in Japan. The ship will be christened by model and moderator Lena Gercke on June 30, 2017 in Palma. Boris Becker is the captain for the launch of the ship.

The AIDAperla will be christened on Friday, June 30, 2017, in Palma de Mallorca.

Starting July 1, 2017, the AIDAperla will be sailing in the Western Mediterranean. Palma de Mallorca and Barcelona will be turnaround ports for the seven-day cruises, calling at Rome (Civitavecchia), Corsica, and Florence (Livorno).

The AIDAperla moves to Northern Europe next summer.
