Norwegian Breakaway Set for 2018 Season in Baltic

The Norwegian Breakaway will follow in the waves of the Norwegian Getaway, re-positioning from the domestic North American market to spend summer 2018 sailing in Northern Europe. The Escape is expected to take the Breakaway’s place sailing from New York.

Norwegian Cruise Line’s website shows the Breakaway re-positioning from New York to Southampton in April 2018.

Other internet cruise booking engines show the ship sailing a nine-night Baltic itinerary round-trip from Copenhagen for summer 2018. The 2013-built ship then moves back to New York in early October 2018.

The Getaway, meanwhile, will do a similar move in 2017, leaving South Florida and the Caribbean in the summer in favor of Northern Europe.
