Sheehan Becomes President; Veitch, CEO

NCL confirms that Kevin Sheehan has been announced internally as president, with immediate effect. He retains his responsibility as chief financial officer.

Kevin joined NCL in November 2007 as CFO. His extensive 30-year business career has included, most recently, being chairman and CEO of Cendant Corporation’s Vehicle Services Division, which consisted of a group of companies, including the Avis and Budget rental car companies, PHH Corporation and Wright Express. He also served as CFO of Cendant Corporation, and prior thereto as president and CFO of Avis Group Inc.

Today, NCL is more than double the size it was when Colin Veitch became president and CEO, and is preparing for the largest growth surge in its history with the arrival of two F3 ships in 2010. In splitting the roles of president and CEO, NCL intends that Kevin, as president, will assume a broad range of responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of the business and Colin Veitch, as CEO, will concentrate on corporate strategy, new building, and a variety of longer term projects for the further development of NCL, both domestically and internationally.
