Feranley & Eger has reportedly ordered four small cruise ships from the Italian yard Cantieri Navale Ferrari and is said to be negotiating for four more.
According to reports from Italy, the four ships are said to be identical at 300 feet and with 50-foot beams. Each will accommodate about 100 passengers and will sail in the Caribbean. The first ship is scheduled for delivery in 18 months.
The yard stated to CIN that it has formerly built vessels for Cunard and P & O.
Fearnley & Eger currently leases the Starship Explorer to Exploration Cruise Lines. This was formerly a ro-ro vessel that was rebuilt. The company has another similar vessel that it may also rebuild.
