NCL Redeployment

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced plans to redeploy ships. In May of 1993, the 865-passenger Westward will be starting three- and four-day cruises from Miami to the Bahamas, replacing the Sunward, which was delivered to Birka Line last month.

The 758-passenger Starward will be replacing the Westward, sailing seven-day cruises out of Los Angeles, calling at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. The Starward is now sailing seven day cruises out of San Juan.

The Starward will be replaced in San Juan by NCL’s new 1,246-passenger Windward, starting in June of 1993.

The 1,246-passenger Dreamward, scheduled to sail her maiden voyage December 6, 1992, will be sailing winters out of Port Everglades, and will be replacing the Westward sailing Bermuda cruises from New York in the summer months.
