Costa to Launch Mozzarella Gourmet Bar

Costa Crociere announced today it will launch a new food and beverage option aboard dedicated to buffalo mozzarella.

Buffalo mozzarella will be produced onboard the ships. Guests will be able to observe the process.

The mozzarella will be served warm with a wide selection of cold-cuts and other Italian specialties, said Costa. In addition to the classic buffalo mozzarella, burrata and stracciatella as well as the traditional fiordilatte will also be served.

The buffalo mozzarella produced onboard will also be used in the fleet’s Pummid’oro pizzerias.

The new gourmet bar will become operational at the end of 2016 on the Costa Diadema, and roll out to the fleet in 2017.
