Royal Caribbean and Cintas Ink Agreement for Uniform Program

Cintas Corporation has signed an agreement with Royal Caribbean International, to manufacture uniforms for its fleet of ships, according to a prepared statement.

The uniforms will be manufactured by Cintas and distributed worldwide. The agreement was signed in the presence of the Tianjin Economic Delegations of China in Los Angeles, which endorsed Cintas for the contract’s support of the Chinese economy.

“Cintas’ presence in the marketplace will help prepare for the future growth in Asia,” stated Mike Jones, SVP for supply chain management, Royal Caribbean International. “This strategically allows the procurement and logistics teams to manage the uniform programs worldwide. The planning also will increase production in China and will have additional savings to the overall uniform cost. Cintas’ design and fabric technology is superior to anything else we’ve seen and with their help we’re able to bring new innovations to the cruise market.”

From the expansive F&B venues to entertainment staff, Cintas was tasked to create many different looks to match the venues on the ships.

“We’re proud of our 23-year-long history with Royal Caribbean and are thrilled to play a key role in helping them reach this new milestone,” said Dan Ambrosio, Vice President of Global Lodging & Cruise for Cintas.
