EasyCruise Life to Launch

Easyruise has added a second ship named easyCruise Life, which will start sailing from Athens in April 2008.

The 12,711-ton vessel is currently a ferry, sailing as the Farah, operated by Arab Ship Management out of Egypt.

From 2001 to 2006, she sailed as the cruise ship Jasmine, owned by Mano Maritime. Built in 1981 at the Szczecin shipyard in Poland as the Lev Tolstoy for Black Sea Shipping, the easyCruise Life will have 270 cabins with 540 lower berths and a total capacity of 630 passengers.

According to easyCruise, the ship will undergo a multi-million dollar refit in Piraeus before entering service.
