Royal Caribbean Cruises is launching a new brand in France, CDF Croisieres De France, dedicated to the French market. Starting service in May 2008 will be the Bleu de France, which is presently sailing as Pullmantur Cruises Holiday Dream.
Built in 1981, the 37,000-ton, 750-passenger ship, the former Europa, will undergo a EUR 30 million overhaul before entering service.
The Bleu de France will sail Mediterranean cruises from Marseille during the summer and in the Caribbean, from La Romana, during the winter.
