Seabourn Cruise Line has named Gary Gerbino senior vice president of marketing. Gerbino was most recently vice president at M. Silver Associates where he directed external communications for the Cruise Lines International Association. Prior to that he was part of the executive team that launched Orient Lines and served as director of marketing.
Seaboum has also promoted Doug Seagle vice president of sales for the Americas. Seagle was previously director of sales development.
The Port Of Seattle has named Tay Yoshitani its new CEO, replacing Mic Dinsmore, who has announced his resignation. Yoshitani has led ports in Oakland and Baltimore and was deputy executive director of the Port Of Los Angeles.
Cunard Line has appointed Captain Bernard Warner commodore of the fleet. Warner has been Master of the Queen Mary 2 since June 2005. He has been at sea for 40 years and in command for the past 12 years.
Princess Cruises has named Captain Michael Fatchen commodore of the 15-ship fleet of Princess and P&O Cruises. Fatchen, who joined P&O in 1966, was first named captain aboard the original Sea Princess in 1993.
MHG Marine Benefits has appointed Jacques Wulffaert as managing director of the MHG Group and CEO of MHG Services. Wulffaert was most recently vice president of total guest satisfaction at Celebrity Cruises.
