Sawhney most recently led the Americas as COO, demonstrating a strong track record in building growth both organically and through acquisitions by differentiating brands and increasing market share across multiple channels, said Ponant.
Prior to his tenure with Ponant he worked at hospitality brands such as Cunard, Royal Viking, Sea Goddess, Holland America and Tauck.

At the helm, Sawhney will continue to leverage the brand’s leadership position in Expedition cruising, while forging strategic alliances with channel partners. He will also increase PONANT’s competitive advantage by expanding elevated, immersive encounters to iconic destinations, featuring cruises curated for Discovery & Learning.
