CruiseOne and Cruises Inc Sells Out Conference, Announces Theme

CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. has announced that its 2015 National Conference aboard the brand new Norwegian Escape, has officially sold out. The conference is scheduled for November 14-21, 2015.

With record-breaking attendance for the second year in a row of more than 900 attendees, the National Conference will feature the theme CONNECT and focus on setting the framework for developing strong relationships as well as new opportunities.

Attendees will be encouraged to connect socially using the hashtag #ConnectConference.

“We are one of the first travel agencies to host a week long national conference at sea and are pioneers in creating a national conference featuring dynamic content designed to engage and educate everyone from newbies to seasoned agents at the same time,” said Drew Daly, general manager of network engagement and performance for CruiseOne and Cruises Inc.

“Attendees appreciate having a central theme providing the context for the week and sets the tone for the year to come.”

From engaging networking events and one-on-one meetings with suppliers to educational workshops and peer-to-peer brainstorming sessions, the weeklong National Conference will provide endless opportunities for vacation specialists to make the CONNECT theme become a reality. The week is about encouraging attendees to connect with new possibilities and new opportunities within their businesses by learning about new products, ideas, technology solutions and more.

“I have been a franchisee since 2001 and have attended every National Conference I possibly could,” said Tim Martin, CruiseOne franchisee in Beaverton, Ore. “It has great opportunities for formal learning from our vendor partners and from our World Travel Holdings staff; however, I get the most value from interacting with my fellow CruiseOne franchise owners. We all face similar challenges in our business and gaining their working knowledge helps me approach these obstacles in ways I would never have thought of myself.”

Engagement initiatives, which include a robust training and development program, form the foundation to the success of vacation specialists with CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. In addition to the annual National Conference, the program features virtual and in-person opportunities for agents to connect with each other and suppliers while working from home, such as an award-winning online learning management system providing interactive and on-demand training on everything from cruise and land products to sales skills, a business development team, two-day regional trainings throughout the year around the U.S., informal MeetUps and more.
