Passenger Terminal Amsterdam Introduces Crew Pass

Passenger Terminal Amsterdam has rolled out the new Amsterdam Crew Pass, a card that gives crew a discount at participating shops and restaurants in the area.

The pass was designed for ship’s crew, coming on top of a dedicated area launched last year for crew inside the terminal which includes free WiFi.

By giving discounts, the Zeedijk area area wants to attract more crew to shops and restaurants, most of which are within a 15-minute walk from the terminal.

The Zeedijk area is part of the Chinese district in Amsterdam. The text on street signs around the Zeedijk and Nieuwmarkt is written in both Dutch and Chinese characters.

The passes will be available in the crew lounge, and staff captains of the ships will be informed. Participating shops will have special promotions during the season; information on these special deals can also be found in the lounge.
