Citing a “technical issue” with the Norwegian Star’s ABB Azipod propulsion system, Norwegian Cruise Line has been forced to cancel a 15-day Panama Canal sailing departing on April 12 on the Norwegian Star.
The ship will be out of service until April 26 to repair the pod issue.
Guests will receive a full refund and 50 percent future cruise credit, and Norwegian said they would cover air and hotel change fees associated with the cancellation.
