Cruise Lines Add Asia Capacity

Costa calls in TianjinA number of major cruise lines have built up their capacity in the Asia-Pacific region, according to the 2015-2016 Cruise Industry News Annual Report.

The biggest mover is Royal Caribbean, growing by just over 50 percent in the market, followed closely by Costa Croicere and Princess. On a smaller scale, AIDA Cruises will double its Asia capacity this year, growing by nearly 100 percent to carry over 20,000 passengers in the region.
