Carnival Hosts Cowboys Tailgate Takeover

This past Sunday, Carnival Cruise Lines, the Official Cruise Line of the Dallas Cowboys, held its first-ever Tailgate Takeover at AT&T Stadium with an appearance by Chef Guy Fieri – whose Guy’s Burger Joints are on several of the line’s “Fun Ships” – as well as a pre-game concert by country music superstars Rascal Flatts.

In addition to visiting tailgaters, signing autographs, and offering his own custom grilling tips, Fieri was on hand to judge the inaugural Burger Battle with delicious entries from three talented Cowboys fans, each of whom won a free seven-day cruise on the Carnival Freedom, which will be based year-round in Galveston beginning next year.

Fieri also served as emcee and introduced a pre-game concert by Rascal Flatts, one of the most recognized bands in country music who are among the headlining acts for the 2015 lineup of Carnival LIVE, a shipboard concert series that brings that best of live music to sea.  The concert was enjoyed by thousands of Dallas Cowboys fans in the stadium’s West Plaza and served as a prelude to the group’s three performances on Carnival ships while docked in Cozumel in May 2015.
