Cruise Industry News Becomes Media Partner of CCYIA Conference in Tianjin

Government officials and cruise line executives at the CCYIA show in Shanghai last year.The China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association (CCYIA), the leading non-profit organization for China’s cruise industry development, and Cruise Industry News today announced a continuing partnership for the CCYIA’s upcoming conference and trade show, the Ninth Annual China Cruise Shipping and International Cruise Expo (CCS9) in Tianjin, Oct.15-17.

Cruise Industry News (CIN), the leading industry business magazine, will continue its role as the international media partner to the ninth annual conference, which showcases China’s emerging cruise sector growth and is organized by the non-profit CCYIA.

Recently, more ships, including two newbuilds from Star Cruises, the Quantum of the Seas from Royal Caribbean International, and more tonnage from Costa Croicere have been dedicated to Asian markets.

The Tianjin event will bring together ports and suppliers from China and Asia along with the world’s top cruise lines for the conference and trade event in China.

Wei Hang, Zheng, the Executive Vice-Chairman and Chief Secretary (de-facto CEO) of the CCYIA said: “We are pleased to cooperate with CIN again this year. The development of Chinese cruise market is attracting the world’s attention. Not only are cruise companies welcome to China to explore new itineraries and purchase cruise supplies, U.S. and European cruise suppliers are also welcome to cooperate with Chinese industry professionals.”

The ninth annual China Cruise and Yacht Industry Association conference and trade show takes place in Tianjin , Oct.15-17. The conference includes various functions, highlighted by an international cruise expo but also an awards ceremony, forums, cocktail parties, roundtable discussions, supplier meetings and much more.
