Jorge Vilches has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer for Pullmantur, it was announced today.

Vilches be responsible for leading the Spanish cruise line and will report directly to Richard D. Fain, chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.

Vilches brings some 10 years of experience in the travel industry, including a resume stacked with Latin American experience. Previously, Vilches had held other leadership positions in Latin America, such as the CEO of LAN Peru, the main air carrier of the country, and CEO of LAN Express, LAN operates domestic flights in Chile. Vilches was born in Spain and lived in several countries in Latin America.
