Crown Princess in St. Petersburg

The traditional Plaque Ceremony was held onboard at the morning. The Crown Princess today made her inaugural call to Passenger port of St.Petersburg “Marine Façade”

The traditional Plaque Ceremony was held onboard at the morning.

Later in the afternoon a team gathered onboard to plan the future work of installing shorepower on the ship, including the shell door on the port-side for the electrical connection.

Lloyds Register representatives in addition to Nordweg, Fincantieri, Princess and port offciail were on hand for the meetings.

Cutting and welding work is planned for her next call to St.Petersburg at the end of August 2013. St.Petersburg was chosen by the owners as the only port in cruise where ship stays for two days, giving them enough time to complete the job in one port.
