Spaceships Cruise into the Heart of Europe

Scenic Tours River Cruising’s all new ‘space-ships’ are making waves in the European river cruise market. Launching the first of four ships in early 2008, the ‘space-ships’ offer guests an unparalleled river cruise vacation.

“We are delighted at the response we have received regarding the new European river cruises,” said Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America, Nicole De Wilde. “The first scheduled cruises are selling out fast, further establishing Scenic Tours River Cruising as the premier river cruise experience.”

Scenic Tours ‘space-ships’ provide cruisers with an extraordinary sense of personal space and freedom while on board. Offering the largest staterooms in the market, 82 percent of all cabins are complete with private open-air balconies, allowing guests on the Rhine and Danube decks to relax and enjoy the picturesque European landscape sail by from the privacy of their spacious balcony, measuring over 25 sq. feet.  Individuals on the superior Danube Deck have the luxury of a private butler, summoned at the touch of a button.

Enhancing the Scenic experience is the added value of Scenic FreeChoice, unique to Scenic Tours, which includes exclusive activities and sightseeing for all guests. Scenic’s vacationers are granted the freedom to personalize their river cruise and land touring experiences to suit their individual tastes at no additional cost.

The ‘space-ships’ are scheduled to set sail on the Rhine and Danube Rivers in early 2008, on course from Amsterdam to Budapest. On this impressive 15-day “Jewels of Europe” cruise, guests will have the luxury of visiting some of the most famous cities in the region, including Amsterdam, Cologne, Nuremberg, Vienna and Budapest.

Inclusive value fares include Scenic FreeChoice’s guided shore tours and sightseeing opportunities, onboard gourmet meals, wine with dinner, airport transfers and gratuities.
