Norwegians Catch the Upgrade Wave

Norwegian Cruise Line is launching “The Upgrade Wave” sales event today to celebrate the start of Wave Season, the best time of the year to book a cruise. From today through February 28, 2013, guests who ride the upgrade wave can book a balcony stateroom for the price of an oceanview stateroom or an oceanview stateroom for the price of an inside stateroom on any Norwegian ship in any destination. Every new reservation will also receive $300 worth of e-coupons to use on board towards spa treatments, personal training sessions, discounts in the casino and more, plus reduced deposits on all sailings of three days or longer.

In addition to the free upgrades, e-coupons and reduced deposits available through Norwegian’s Wave Season offer, select sailings are also eligible for additional savings including up to $1000 in air credits, AARP discounts and 50% off cruise fare for kids sailing in Europe.

Norwegians are invited to ride the upgrade wave and set sail to tropical destinations, such as the Eastern Caribbean on Norwegian Epic from Miami, Florida, between now and April 13, 2013. Guests who set sail on Norwegian Epic, named “Best Overall Cruise Ship” by the readers of Travel Weekly, will enjoy visits to St. Maarten and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; Nassau, Bahamas, as well as three relaxing days at sea with fares starting at $399*.

Vacationers will enjoy sailing past history-rich European ports of call when they cruise in a balcony on one of Norwegian’s exciting Europe itineraries. Cruisers can set sail on a nine-day Canary Islands cruise on board Norwegian Spirit, departing from Barcelona through April 8, 2013; a seven-day Greek Isles and Adriatic itineraries from Venice on Norwegian Jade or a nine-day Baltic Capitals voyage on Norwegian Star from May 7, 2013 through September 10, 2013; with fares starting at $399*.
