VAX VacationAccess and Norwegian Cruise Line have launched a single login connection from the booking engine to the cruise supplier. Agents can now quickly connect to Norwegian’s online booking engine via VAX, eliminating the need to login separately to the cruise line’s booking engine, saving agents time and hassle.

With this new connection, users will only need to login the first time they enter from VAX. User information will be logged, eliminating the need to sign-in on future visits, and giving travel agents a quick and seamless path from VAX to Norwegian’s travel agent online booking engine.

“Through our on-going conversations with agents on how we can better serve them, we identified that there was a definite need and want for an easy way to access Norwegian,” said Rick Karnes, vice president and general manager of VAX VacationAccess Worldwide. “This improved connection makes it easier for agents to transition from booking land-based vacations to cruise vacations, without having to remember another password and go through multiple login processes.”

Creating an easier, more efficient way for agents to book with us is a prime example of our Partners First commitment," said Camille Olivere, senior vice president of sales at Norwegian. "Working with VAX to provide its agents with a direct and hassle-free path to our booking engine differentiates our company and positions us as industry-leaders, being the first major cruise line to provide this service. We continually look for ways to evolve and improve our brand and know our travel partners will appreciate this investment in their success.”

Through the Partners First program, Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a series of enhancements to its new travel agent booking engine throughout 2012.
